The Story of Fog Agroteknik
Elof Fog, who would later become the founder of Fog Agroteknik, collaborated with farmer Asbjørn Pedersen in the 1970s to develop a way to discharge manure from barns.
The result of their efforts came to light in 1979, when the original Pull and Release system was introduced. Since then, it has remained the core product of Fog Agroteknik. Over the years, the Pull and Release system has undergone continuous development — in part due to changes in barn design.
In the early 1980s, Fog Agroteknik began exporting the Pull and Release system. It started on a small scale, but today, most of the company’s turnover is generated through exports. Fog Agroteknik has built a large dealer network and now exports to more than 35 countries.
In the new millennium, Asbjørn Pedersen — who helped develop the Drag & Drop system — and Peter Bredgaard — who has been with the company since 1985 — joined the group of owners.
Fog Agroteknik’s head office is located in Hørning. There is also a warehouse and office in Lintrup in Southern Jutland — close to the farm where the Pull and Release system was originally developed. Today, Fog Agroteknik also operates a subsidiary in China.
